FBIU team Visits Yusuf Dantsoho Memorial Hospital, discusses areas of Partnership
The Management of Franco-British International University (FBIU), Kaduna, led by the President of the University, Prof. Abdullahi Sabo Muhammad, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Yusuf Dantsoho Memorial Hospital, Kaduna.
The FBIU delegation was received by the Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Safiya Bello Nagaji, alongside members of the hospital’s management team.
Speaking during the meeting, FBIU President, Prof. Abdullahi Sabo Muhammad said the visit was aimed at strengthening institutional relationships and exploring possible areas of partnership, particularly in the clinical training of students of the University.
He noted that the proposed collaboration would provide students with practical exposure and hands-on experience required to complement their academic training, while also fostering mutually beneficial institutional engagement.
Responding, the Medical Director of Yusuf Dantsoho Memorial Hospital, Dr. Safiya Bello Nagaji, expressed appreciation to the University management for the visit and commended the initiative.
She assured the delegation of the hospital’s readiness to partner with the University, noting that the proposed collaboration would be given due consideration after the completion of all necessary administrative processes.
FBIU team thereafter presented a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to the hospital for review and necessary inputs, with both parties expressing optimism towards formalising the partnership.
Members of the delegation from FBIU included the Vice President Administration, Mr. Agwaza Bemdoo; the Director Linkages and Collaboration, Malam Umar Alkali Usman; the Dean, School of Health Sciences, Hajiya Karimatu Muhammad; and Umar Faruk Tukur of the Corporate Communications Unit.
