The leadership of Franco-British International University Kaduna (FBIU) on Tuesday, 08 July 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Kaduna.
The visit, led by the university’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Sabo Muhammad, aimed to establish a working relationship and showcase FBIU as part of MAAUN Group of Universities.
On arrival, Prof. Sabo and his team were received by the NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs. Efeke Murna Dadaza, along with some Staff members of the NYSC, where the delegation had a lengthy discussion.
In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor of FBIU explained that the visit was informed by the desire of the university to partner and provide services to the teeming youth, and also to contribute meaningfully to national development.
He emphasized the university’s intention to provide solutions to the community through innovative academic and social engagement initiatives.
He added that NYSC is a very important organ as far as education is concerned, particularly in nurturing young graduates for national service and development.
Responding, Mrs. Murna, who expressed delight for the visit, also appreciated the desire to partner with the NYSC in capacity building and youth empowerment initiatives.
She added that the NYSC Kaduna State will be glad to work with FBIU as a co-employer in areas that will benefit both the Corps members and the institution.
She thanked the delegation for coming and presented a plaque as a token of appreciation and goodwill.
Other members of the delegation from FBIU included the Registrar, Mr. Agwaza Bemdoo; Acting Director, Academic Planning and Quality Assurance, Dr. Auwalu Lawal Danbuzu; Acting Dean, Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, Mal. Rahama Umar Muhammad; and Secretary to the Vice Chancellor, Mal. Ibrahim Jibril Aliyu, among others.
