FBIU Visits National Ear Care Centre Kaduna, Explores Partnership Opportunities
The Management of Franco-British International University (FBIU), led by its President, Prof. Abdullahi Sabo Muhammad, paid a courtesy visit to the National Ear Care Centre (NECC), Kaduna, on Monday.
Prof. Sabo and his team were received by the Medical Director, Dr. Mustapha Abubakar Yaro, after which both parties discussed the purpose of the visit and possible areas of collaboration.
Prof. Sabo said the visit aimed to strengthen academic and professional linkages, enhance students’ clinical training, and boost research capacity in healthcare education.
He added that FBIU seeks partnerships that improve professionalism, service delivery, and hands-on medical experience for students.
Dr. Yaro welcomed the initiative and assured the delegation of the hospital’s readiness to formalize the collaboration once all processes are completed.
He also praised the Founder of the university for his dynamic leadership and noted the consistent quality of graduates from MAAUN Niger.
In her remarks, the Dean, School of Health Sciences, Hajiya Karimatu Abdullahi Muhammad, commended NECC for its commitment to quality healthcare and expressed confidence that FBIU students would benefit greatly once the MoU takes effect.
The delegation included the Director of Human Resources, Hajiya Farida Sanusi Imam; Director of ICT, Mal. Aminu Ibrahim; Ag. Director of Linkages and Collaboration, Umar Faruk Tukur.
Others were the Secretary to the President, Ibrahim Jibril Aliyu; Records Officer, Umar Dahiru Tata; Secretary to the Dean, School of SMS, Sani Ashiru Abubakar; and University Photographer, Alyasa’a Hassan.
