The Management of Franco-British International University (FBIU), Kaduna, has congratulated the Founder and President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo for being honoured by the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN).

The Association bestowed on Prof. Gwarzo is the prestigious Platinum Medal Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the advancement of Medical Laboratory Science in Nigeria.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement personally signed by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sabo, and issued to newsmen in Kaduna on Sunday.

The FBIU Management extended their heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Gwarzo, describing the award as well-deserved in view of his unwavering commitment to the advancement of medical laboratory science in Nigeria.

According to the statement, the awardee deserves to be celebrated in view of his significant role in the development and successful national approval of the Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science Curriculum.

“On behalf of the Management of FBIU, I wish to extend our heartfelt congratulations to you on achieving the milestone.

“We are optimistic that the award will further propel you to do more to ensure academic and professional development of the medical laboratory science in Nigeria and beyond,” he said.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Prof Gwarzo a long life in good health to enable him to continue the good work he has been doing in advancing higher education at the global stage.
