FBIU Commended for Aligning Academic Courses with Societal Demands

Franco-British International University (FBIU) Kaduna has been commended for designing programs and courses that reflect the present needs of society.

The commendation was made by Kaduna State’s Commissioner of Education, Prof. Emeritus A.S Sambo, during a courtesy visit by FBIU management to the Ministry of Education in the state.

The Commissioner expressed appreciation for the visit, noting that such interactions are vital in strengthening relationships between the ministry and institutions of higher learning.

He praised the university’s Founder, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo for his remarkable achievement in establishing four international universities.

The Commissioner further assured the delegation of the ministry’s readiness to provide necessary support and interventions when required.

Earlier in his address, the Vice Chancellor of FBIU, Prof. Abdullahi Sabo Muhammad, stated that the visit was primarily to familiarize the leadership of the university to the ministry and to seek guidance as the institution continues to grow.

He noted that such engagements offer an opportunity to receive advice from experienced authorities, adding that the university values the ministry’s role in shaping its path as a young institution.

While expressing gratitude to the Commissioner for the warm reception and words of encouragement, Prof Sabo emphasized FBIU’s commitment to maintain high standards in its academic and administrative operations.

The FBIU delegation also included the Registrar, Mr. Agwaza Bemdoo; the Secretary to the Vice Chancellor, Malam Ibrahim Jibril Aliyu; and Umar Faruk Tukur, the Public Relations Officer, among others.
