FBIU Aligns with JAMB to Streamline Admission Process
As part of its ongoing efforts to ensure a smooth admission process, the management of Franco-British International University (FBIU), Kaduna, has on Tuesday, paid a courtesy visit to the Kaduna Zonal Office of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
On arrival, the team was warmly received by the Acting Zonal Director, Bello Hausawa Aminu, alongside the Desk Officer, Mohammed Umar A., and Chief Protocol Officer, Aisha Mustapha.
In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor of theUniversity, Prof Abdullahi Sabo Muhammad noted that the purpose of the visit was to formally introduce FBIU as a new university in Kaduna and to seek guidance and cooperation from the body.
He described JAMB as a key regulatory body in charge of admissions into tertiary institutions across the country.
Prof. Sabo reiterated the importance of aligning FBIU’s systems with the Board’s standards to ensure transparency and credibility in the admission process.
Responding, Mr. Aminu expressed delight over the visit and commended FBIU for its proactive engagement with JAMB at an early stage of its operations.
He assured the delegation of JAMB’s readiness to provide technical support and timely interventions that would facilitate an efficient admission process for the university.
In his closing remarks, the University Registrar, Mr. Agwaza Bemdoo, expressed appreciation for the warm reception and pledged FBIU’s readiness to uphold the highest standards in admission procedures.
Other members of the delegation from FBIU included Malama Rahama Umar Muhammad, Acting Dean, Faculty of Social and Management Sciences; Mal. Aminu Ibrahim, Director of ICT/Admissions; Mal. Ibrahim Jibril Aliyu, Secretary to the Vice Chancellor; and Umar Faruk Tukur, Head, Corporate Communications and Protocol Unit, among others.
